About a Girl
CHARLEEN is fifteen, listens to music made by people who are dead and is completing an internship with an undertaker. She sometimes asks herself why everything has to be so complicated - with the idiots in her class, her screwed-up family and with her whole stupid life. Charleen is well aware that this unpleasant phase is known as “growing up” - but does she actually want to grow up? Defiant and in a melodramatic mood, Charleen decides to put an end to her life. But as she goes to climb into the bathtub, plugged-in hairdryer in hand, her cell phone rings. Because she just absolutely has to answer it, she leans over too far forwards…. and ends up in hospital instead of the afterlife.
