The 13-year old Alexander is an A student, best friend with Maulwurf and in love with Lotte. But when Maulwurf’s latest invention, the Perlmutterfarbe, falls into Alexander’s hand his life spins out of control. The class searches for the flasks thief accusing the innocent student B-Karli from the parallel B-class. Gruber covers up for Alexander, misusing his power over him and taking B-Karli as a cause for a hate campaign against the B-class. Alexander finds himself pitted against his friends. Only when Alexander has reached the bottom he stands up against Gruber, and faces the truth.
