Himmlische Helden

The unfortunate small-time gangster Bugsy (Sebastian Blomberg) wants to bring his young son from the children's home to live with him. But to do so, he needs a wife, a lot of money and success in his job. Heaven has mercy on the likeable loser and provides him with the angel Noname. With heavenly support, Bugsy hopes to finally snatch a big fish off the hook of his gangster boss. But the angel is just as much of a slob and loser in heaven as Bugsy is on earth - the luck of the small-time gangster is the angel's last chance to prove himself before he is finally banished from the kingdom of heaven. Bugsy meets Jasmin (Henriette Heinze) through Noname. The two are supposed to be destined for each other, to land a big coup together, and to start a real family with Bugsy's son. However, Noname must have made a huge mistake, because Jasmin and Bugsy clearly can't stand each other. On top of that, the angel falls in love with Bugsy's patented landlady Molle (Eva Mattes), and his connection to heaven becomes weaker and weaker. But what could be more heavenly than earthly love?
