Single editor Elisabeth Meinhardt (mid-40s) knows that not all family constructs are made to last forever. A realisation that doesn't just dawn on her, when her 16-year-old son Fabian decides to move in with his father, his young girlfriend and their shared children. Elisabeth's new liaison with the young student Zacharias (22) also challenges the rest of the family and finally upsets her somewhat stagnant life. She realises that some boundaries are there to be crossed, so she starts to take a run at them...
