IRGENDWAS BLEIBT IMMER
During a train ride, Nina (Lisa Maria Potthoff), a doctor and single mother, meets the charismatic Mark (Manuel Rubey).
The flirtation quickly turns into something serious. Nina introduces her new love to her neighbors Melanie (Ulrike Krumbiegel) and Andreas (Justus von Dohnányi), and Mark moves head over heels to Nina's place in the country - with a confession in his luggage. He served seven years in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend in the heat of the moment. Nina nevertheless gives the relationship a chance.
But then neighbor Melanie doesn't return from a short trip. Her jealous husband Andreas believes in an affair between Mark and Melanie and hires a private detective. Nina also becomes suspicious and ends her relationship with Mark. When Melanie's body is found in the nearby forest, everything changes.
