During a demonstration by a citizens' initiative against deep water drilling in the small town of Blankenfleet, young police officer Jule Hohenbek (Alva Schäfer) is alleged to have killed a demonstrator. But Sarah Kohr (Lisa Maria Potthoff) does not believe the version of events shown in the shaky bodycam footage. At the next demonstration against drilling commissioned by the beverage company Aqualis and approved by the municipality of Blankenfleet, Sarah Kohr, with the consent of police platoon leader Till Ruprecht (Kostja Ullmann), mingles with the riot police who are supposed to protect the site. The situation is tense and threatens to escalate due to the arrival of violent activists. In the thicket of conflicting interests, Sarah Kohr follows the trail of those behind the violent attacks and finds herself the target of a deadly intrigue.
