State of emergency in North Rhine-Westphalia! For several months now the police have been facing a series of unsolved murders on four of their commissioners. All efforts to track down the perpetrator(s) have so far been in vain. With the aim of forming a successful investigative team, the chief of police, supported by the prime minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, invites seven commissioners from different cities in the state to an empty conference hotel. All of the commissioners knew the previous victims, potentially enhancing their suitability for the upcoming investigations. Peter Faber (Jörg Hartmann) and partner Martina Bönisch (Anna Schudt) are the crime scene team from Dortmund, Nadeshda Krusenstern (Friederike Kempter) the commissioner from Münster. Commissioner Rettenbach from Oberhausen (Ben Becker), Commissioner Mitschowski from Aachen (Nicholas Ofczarek), Commissioner Ziesing from Paderborn (Friedrich Mücke) and Commissioner Möller from Düsseldorf (Elena Uhlig) complete the team.
