A nasty surprise awaits the ultraconservative master butcher Franz (Andreas Giebel) upon his release from hospital. His daughter Zita (Brigitte Hobmeier) has recruited black asylum seeker Alpha (Tony Harrisson Mpoudja) as a temporary employee. Franz dies in an unlucky accident, but Alpha mysteriously continues to be able to see and hear him. Despite his deep dislike, Franz realizes that he needs Alpha’s earthly assistance to prevent the downfall of his business and protect Zita from the dastardly intentions of her brother Anton. Alpha has feelings for Zita too and wants to help her, so he agrees to the cooperation...
