After the usual internships in film and television, Ben worked as a production coordinator and gripper at various companies for TV and cinema productions. Besides that he developed, wrote and produced short feature films, music vi- deos and commercials. From 2015 - 2020 he studied at the Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg in Ludwigsburg with focus on Creative Producing and graduated with a diploma. He was a scholarship holder of the VFF as well as the Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art and the GVL. He was also the winner of the Caligari Förderpreis in 2019 and the winner of the LBBW Stiftung in 2018. For the film „Der Käpt‘n“ he won the producer award of the Seesüchte Festival Potsdam. He is a freelance producer who develops projects in close co-operation with die film gmbh.
